WHY CHINA WANTS TAIWAN ?

Taiwan's economy

Development started in China in 1978 but developed started in Taiwan in 1960 . This is the main reason that China's GDP per capita is $ 12,551 dollars and Taiwan's GDP per capita is $ 32,123 dollars even in purchasing power parity Taiwan is on 8th rank in Asia and 18th rank in the world . Taiwan is also one of the largest exporter in the world . If China will capture Taiwan its economy will have a good growth .

Land

China is resonating from land shortage so it is not having land of agriculture so if it will capture Taiwan it will get land for agriculture and it will get more natural resources .

Island chain strategy

After 1957's Korean war , USA made the first island chain in west Pacific ocean in which Kuril islands , Japanese archipelago , Ryukyu islands , Taiwan , Bulacan and Borneo were there . The reason for making this chain was to stop the expansion on Soviet union and China . due to this chain China is having a economical loss and US army is just on it's sea border . So if China captured Taiwan then this island chain will break because Taiwan is the midpoint of this island chain . if this happens China can easily expand itself .

Control on South China sea

China is building artificial islands to control South China sea but Indonesia , Philippines , Thailand , Vietnam , Singapore , Malaysia and Taiwan also consider their right on South China sea and they are also friend of USA so if China will capture Taiwan it will be easy for China to control South China sea .

Taiwan's electronics market

today , Taiwan is one of the largest electronic markets in the world . Maximum parts of the electronic items are manufactured in Taiwan . One of the largest electronic manufacturing companies , ACUS and ACER are also from Taiwan . Taiwan is also the largest single computer chip manufacturer so if China will rule Taiwan then all Taiwan's electronic markets will work under China .

Will China will be able to invade Taiwan ?

It has went 70 years when Taiwan got separated from China but till now only 15 countries have recognized it as a country and in UN ( United Nations ) Taiwan has not got entry yet . It means that to invade Taiwan is not too difficult for China . The military power of China is very powerful than the military power of Taiwan . To make pressure on Taiwan China sent many aircrafts in Taiwan's air zone . But having this all China is not able to invade Taiwan . It has two reasons .

Citizens

if China will capture Taiwan then China has to face the anger of Taiwan's citizens from which its international image will get spoiled .

Taiwan's international errors

As many countries have not recognized Taiwan but strong countries like USA and Japan have recognized Taiwan and due to west pacific ocean and south china sea these countries will properly help Taiwan in a war against China .
